Session Times & Fees
We are open Monday – Friday, 51 weeks of the year! We are closed for approximately 1 week at Christmas (depending on how the Christmas holidays fall) and on all bank holidays.
Morning Session
8.00am – 1.00pm
Afternoon Session
1.00pm – 6.00pm
Full day
8.00am – 6.00pm
We also offer early starts at 7.30am and late pick up until 18.30.
A minimum of 4 sessions (as per Morning/Afternoon sessions) must be booked each week.

2025/2026 FEE STRUCTURE (01/09/25 - 31/08/26):
LADYBIRD & BUTTERFLY ROOMS - (serving ages from 3 months up to 5 years)
Half Day Session 8.00am – 1.00pm or 1.00pm – 6.00pm £ 46.00
Full day Session 8.00am – 6.00pm £ 64.00
Full week 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday £ 310.00
Fees are now aligned for both classrooms. The above fees include breakfast, mid morning snack and mid afternoon snack
GOVERNMENT FUNDING – 15 hours and 30 hours
Little G’s Preschool offer funding for children from aged 9 months+ as part of the government 15 hour and 30 hour funding offer; for families that qualify. We are very flexible on how funding is utilised and we accommodate most requests subject to meeting staff to child ratios and how we operate as a sessional setting.
Funding is provided by the government for 38 weeks of the year and covers the cost of a childcare place but not the cost of any extras such as food/snack provision and other consumables. As a result should you require your child to have breakfast, mid morning & mid afternoon snacks, there is a supplementary charge for those government funded sessions/days as follows:
Cost per half Day session: £4.00 Cost per full day session: £8.00
Those wishing to provide their own b/fast/snack that nursery serve, there is a £5.00 handling fee. This is to cover preparation, serving, clear up and waste disposal.
Extended Hours for Early Starts and Late Finishes
7.30 – 8.00 am £10.00*
6.00 – 6.30 pm £10.00*
*NOTE: We are willing to flex on session structure to avoid early start and/or late finish charges.
We can confirm that we accept Tax Free Childcare payments (TFC) for those parents that have a TFC account.
A minimum of 4 sessions a week must be booked each week.
Fees are reviewed annually.
IF implemented increases are usually from 01st September in line with the academic year.
Food and Snacks
We will provide breakfast for the children who are in nursery from 8am or earlier. Children must bring their own lunch and evening meal.
We provide a light snack for the children who are in nursery after 4.30pm, and snacks and drinks are provided throughout the day.
We charge £4 per morning/afternoon session for snacks/extras
This amounts to £4 per half day and £8 per full day
If you choose to provide your own snacks, this is absolutely fine but we will charge a £5 handling fee. This fee is to cover the cost of preparation, serving, clear up and waste disposal costs.
Government Funding Guidance
We offer 15 and 30 hour government funding for children aged 9 months+ to families that qualify.
Funding is available on a term time only basis as per government guidelines - 38 weeks of the year.
We are an all year round setting and can spread funding out over the full year that we are open (we close for 1 week over the Christmas period). We are happy to discuss all options providing we can meet staff to child ratios in line with our sessions.
We can provide funded places as follows:

Parents can use the 15 funded hours in the following way:
1 x 10-hour session and 1 x 5-hour session
We are also willing to discuss any funding option that allows us to meet staff to child ratios.
Little G's is also willing to spread funding out throughout the year, again, provided we can meet staff to child ratios
Parents can use the 30 funded hours in the following way:
3 x 10-hour sessions
5 x sessions Mon to Fri 9am to 3pm
We are also willing to discuss any funding option that allows us to meet staff to child ratios.
We can also spread the 30 hours funding throughout the year and can discuss this option with you.
Flexible sessions
We can provide flexibility on how funding sessions are taken and are will be happy to discuss ALL options to try and meet your requirements. As long as we are able to meet child to staff ratios, we will flex on a sessional basis.
Reserving your little’s place at Little G’s:
Simply complete the reservation form indicating the days/sessions you require and pay your £50 reservation fee. The reservation fee is non-refundable and secures your little’s place in all rooms as they progress through the setting.
